About Me

Hi, I'm n-anselm, a technology-oriented creative individual who loves to do a wide range of things from scripting/programming to 3D printing to speedcubing to graphics, video, and animation. I love the feeling of accomplishment that comes with making something, especially when developing original and unique concepts. I'm currently working on my CompTIA A+ certification.

I'm not the best developer around, but I do love programming. I'm fairly familiar with Python. Java was my first language, but I haven't used it for two years or so, so I'm not nearly as proficient with it anymore. I'm starting to get used to Bash, and know a thing or two with HTML/CSS. When I was developing Android apps with Java a couple years ago, I was really fast with XML. Right now I'm focusing on extending my knowledge and experience in Python and Bash.

I'm totally hooked to Linux, I think it's absolutely the overall best OS out there, and I pretty much only use Windows when I absolutely have to. I currently use Garuda Linux, which is based on Arch.

Graphics and animation fascinates me, be it drawing, vector graphics, or 3D design. I especially love abstract and scifi art.

Artificial intelligence also interests me a lot, especially systems that are automated by AI. This also ties in with robotics and mechatronics. I haven't really done much with either yet. I do believe that AI has the potential to become hostile/dangerous if not managed properly.

I periodically switch between learning paths / interest: I like keeping things interesting.
